When it comes to sex there's a lot you need to know. From how to avoid Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) such as Chlamydia, getting to grips with contraception, to being clear about your sexuality,
it can all seem a bit daunting.
We aim to reduce the prevalence of STIs and encourage patients to be tested regularly. We also offer a comprehensive choice of contraception with
the aim of reducing unplanned pregnancy rates and provide a holistic service to patients.
East Cheshire Centre for Sexual Health is based at Macclesfield District General Hospital and offers free, confidential, non-judgemental advice for all sexual matters. All patients from any area are invited to attend the service and people of all ages are welcome, including under 16 year olds.
Patients are welcome to drop-in at our nurse-led clinic on Saturday 27 December 2014 between 10 am and 12 noon at The Hub in Macclesfield - please click on the Community Clinics page for further details of our Christmas opening hours.
